Bushmills

My visit to Bushmills was enjoyable.  Some of the original buildings were still standing and it was fascinating.  I think that some of the buildings are haunted.  I walked by one of the old buildings and the door started to shake a little bit.  I didn’t think much about it at that moment.  Ais soon as I got past the door it quit.  I was standing in the vicinity of the door and a couple walked by and the same thing happened.  They looked at me and we talked about what happened.  It was a little unnerving.

This is really a must stop at distillery.  They had an extensive selection of whiskeys.  I didn’t opt for a shot but chose a whiskey cocktail.  It was refreshing.

Bushmills has been around for over 400 years.  Bushmills is named for the mills that made the barley and River Bush that they use for their whiskey and still use today.  Bushmills has been distilling whiskey since the late 1700’s.  They are the oldest distillery in the world.
