The museum of art in New Orleans is by far one of my favorite art museums. Recently I learned that the museum has 40,000 pieces of art that are part of their permanent collection.
Take your time going through the museum, there is so much to see and experience. After you are done inside the museum, head out to the sculpture garden. I was amazed by some of the sculptures, walked around a few of them to try and figure out how they were standing.
The art museum is wonderful, and the sculpture garden was incredible. I highly recommend visiting the museum of art when you are in New Orleans.
