The Monarch Public House
The Monarch Public House has been open since 1894. It is one of the oldest continuously running taverns in Wisconsin. If you are ever in the area stop on in. You will not be disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and knew the history of the public house. It was interesting and entertaining listening to their stories. You can really feel the history of the place and the old-world charm. There were dragons everywhere. Which was pretty cool on its own. If you want to know the significance of the dragons, you will have to stop on in to the Monarch Public House. The bartender would be happy to tell you about the dragons.
