Pickwick Restaurant and Pub
The Pickwick Restaurant has been around for 100 years. You can feel the history of the place as you walk in. It is located on the shore of Lake Superior. Pickwick received the James Beard award in 2007. The Pickwick survived the prohibition and the Great Depression.
We decided to head on over to the Pickwick because we had heard so many rave reviews about the onion rings. The onion rings were ordered and we waited in anticipation for them. The onion rings were huge and impressive looking and that was the only positives about the rings. They were greasy and were very bland tasting. We were very disappointed as we were looking forward to having some crisp and flavorful onion rings. I will give the Pickwick another chance next time I make it over to Duluth.
