The Brazen Head
Brazen Head is Ireland’s oldest pub, it dates back as far as 1653. The Brazen Head is open 7 days a week and serves food until 9pm. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual vibe. When you walk in it was so easy to immerse yourself into the Irish culture. You first enter the outdoor patio, to the right is a little bar behind a door and another seating area. Then you head up the stairs to the dining area. The waitress was attentive and took the time to answer all of our questions.
They serve authentic Irish food. I tried homemade fries and bangers and mash. The food was hearty and comforting.
There is a music room at Brazen Head and they have live music 7 nights per week. We did not make it to the music. I heard great things about the bands from one of the customers.
If you are in the Dublin area, I highly recommend stopping in for dinner and check out the music.
