Minnehaha Falls and Sea Salt
Minnehaha Falls is in Minneapolis. The Falls area is beautiful, and it is hard to believe that you are still in Minneapolis. It is an easy walk to the bottom of the falls. Paved walkway and down the stairs. You can see the falls from the top and the bottom.
Minnehaha Falls is in the Minnehaha Falls Regional Park. They have biking paths, disc golf, wading pools and a bandstand. There is also the Longfellow Gardens that are just gorgeous after the flowers start to bloom. There are a few historical sites in the park. Leave some time to check out the Longfellow House, Princess Depot and John H Stevens House.
There is a picnic area and the playground/tot lot.
Take some time and walk around on the paths. Then stop and grab a quick bite to eat at Sea Salt. There may be a long line, but the wait is worth it.
