Leif Erickson Park & Rose Garden
The garden is located right along the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. The Gardens has roughly 3000 rose bushes and 12,000 non-rose plants. There is a fountain, gazebo, herb garden and plenty of benches to sit on. There is also direct access to the Lakewalk. The garden won the Public Show Garden of America.
The rose garden was established in 1965. The garden covers about 6 acres. There is no admission charge and there is free parking.
A great place for the whole family. The garden is very relaxing to walk around or sit on a bench and take in the view of Lake Superior.
