The Big Tap

I have been going to the decades.  At first, it was to drink and then I decided to grab a burger.  Now I will go for the food.  This small, unassuming establishment has some of the best food in Northern Minnesota.  Occasionally, I will bring some one new there to eat and pretty much always say “How did I never know about the food here?”

The Big Tap was originally a creamery storage building. Then it became Punk’s Tap Room.  My dad would tell stories about his fun times hanging out at Punk’s Tap Room.

The building originally was around 800 square feet but now has doubled in size.  In the summer you can enjoy your time in the fenced backyard.  They have a stage for a band, horseshoes and cornhole games.

This is a must stop at.  Stop on in and try a burger or stop on in for dinner.  Your tastebuds will thank you and you will not be disappointed.
