New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum
This little museum has it all. You will discover the mysteries, history, and folklore of African and Louisiana voodoo. It is a small place, but it is packed with so many artifacts and history. Take your time when going through this museum. There are relics, paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts. Read the descriptions of the relics and artifacts as you walk through.
The experience is amazing, creepy and leaves some with an uneasy feeling. Some people get goosebumps as they walk through, and others had their hair on their arms stand up. When I went through it felt like a couple of the statue’s eyes were following me. You have the feeling that someone is standing right next to you or right behind you and when you look no one is there. On that same day another person was taking pictures and only a few of their pictures turned out. They were blurry or had swirls in their pictures.
I highly recommend stopping and walking through the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum. I will most definitely be stopping in again when I get back to New Orleans.
