Cook’s Country Connection

Cooks Country Connection is such an amazing experience for the young and old.  The day that we visited they rescued two baby Yaks.  They were adorable.  Cooks Country Connection is rescuing animals when needed, so you never know what new animals will be there when you visit.  You can get up close and personal with all the animals.  I personally loved the baby goats, llamas and the alpaca’s; it was fun watching them during their bath time.  You can pet the animals if you want to.

If I lived closer, I would visit more often.  There is a playground for the kids.  There is alpacas, llamas, birds, cows, donkeys, goats, horses, pigs, rabbits and sheep.  Plan to spend at least an hour or two there.  When I visited it was in the 90’s and humid and we still spent an hour and we did not have any kids with.

You can camp on the property but do not be surprised to wake up to a few animals.  They also have farm yoga with the goats.  Live music with all the animals.  You can bring your favorite beverage to the live music events.  Let us not forget Happy Hour @ the Farm.

If you are an animal lover this is a must stop at for the whole family or adults if you don’t have any kids.
