CC Club

In 1884 the building that the CC Club is in was constructed and was a barn and then converted into a garage. The year after Prohibition the building became a bar called the CC Tap.

CC Club became a music venue in 1974 and only served 3.2 beer. CC Club was really the beginning of the Minneapolis rock scene.

CC Club is an iconic bar. Quite a few bartenders have been working there for decades. CC Club is a neighborhood dive bar, and the bartenders and customers will all make you feel welcome. If you have the time to listen to stories of their lives and the history of the bar, you could be entertained for hours. The customers range from businessmen to punk rockers. You never know which famous musician or person you will find belly up to the bar having a drink and talking with the customers. Tom Arnold, use to live across the street and would host after hour parties at the CC Club.

CC Club is worth the stop and don’t be surprised if you are there all day. They do make a mean breakfast. Head on in for an ice cold drink and some great food.
